Lately, I've been really drawn to the posey. For this shoot, I kept the posey in mind and wanted to do something simpler for the bouquet. I made the centerpiece arrangement with spring in mind, in 15 minutes, with hustle and bustle all around me. The process of making the arrangement wasn't the slow build that winter provides for spring, but I had the ingredients as a reminder of how hard creation works under harsh circumstances. I love the way Elizabeth captured these flowers on film. I'm convinced film is the second best way to see flowers.
The shoot was in collaboration with Jann Marie Bridal. Their gowns are beautiful and it was a joy working with them.
