Recently I’ve been really inspired by the material and patterns of terrazzo. The colors and textures are a refreshing take on a material that’s been around since ancient Egypt. Albeit, it’s a nod to our grandmothers’ entryway flooring, there’s something really fresh and new about it’s comeback. My favorite thing? The color stories. What originally drew me to this material was how different elements (granite, marble, quartz, even brass) can be arranged to create really inspiring color palettes.

In a home, it can be a loud as you want or a subtle textural element on a bench or coffee table. It makes an amazing wall paper pattern, and these coasters are crazy cute.

I love when old becomes new.
